35th Annual Adirondack Balloon Festival
On Location: Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport, Queensbury, NY
A sundry of colorful hot air balloons, musical entertainment, travel exhibits, kite flying demonstrations and a display of military aircraft. Don’t miss the festival’s Moon-glow in Battlefield Park and fireworks display over Lake George.

Saturday - Sept. 22
Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport - Queensbury
6 p.m. - Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport
Flight of 90+ balloons and special shape balloons
Battlefield Park, Lake George Village
8:00 p.m. MOON-GLOW (weather permitting) - 15 tethered balloons
8:30 p.m. A spectacular FIREWORKS display over the lake
Sunday - Sept. 23
Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport - Queensbury
6:30 a.m. - Flight of 90+ balloons including special shapes
9 a.m. - Entertainment Tent including Rock climbing wall,
kids fun activities, kite flying, Balloon Festival art show,
military aircraft display, tourism display.
Students may work in digital media or film (black-and-white or color). All formats are welcome.
- Starts promptly at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 22, 2007 and will be cancelled only in case of severely inclement weather. All balloon events are held weather permitting.Meet at the entrance of Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport Hanger, Queensbury, NY.The safari / workshop ends on Sunday, September 23, 2007 after the show.

Note: Proceeds (fee) will go directly towards helping the white-clad widows, the forbidden “out-caste” and the untouchable eunuchs, shunned as members of the “third sex” by the Indian society. All collected money will be donated to a non-profit organization consisting of volunteers interested in dedicating their expertise and time to fight a wide variety of social injustices in India.
